Just before the break, Dzmitry Urbanovich opened for 8,500 from the hijack only to have Davidi Kitai three-bet to 20,500 from the button. The blinds both folded, Urbanovich four-bet to 46,000, and Kitai called to see a flop of .
Urbanovich led out for roughly 40,000, and then snap-called off for 138,100 total when Kitai, who didn't have much more than that, moved all in.
Urbanovich:
Kitai:
Kitai flopped an open-ended straight draw, but Urbanovich killed two of his outs with pocket rockets. Neither the turn nor river helped Kitai, and he was left with just 6,000 after the hand.
Kitai managed to triple up a few hands later, but he is still sitting on the short stack.

During the break of Day 1B of the IPT Main Event we decided to have a bit of fun and ask some quick-fire questions to Niall Farrell, Bryan Paris and Dominik Nitsche.
Q. What the biggest animal you think you could throw over a goal post (Football/Soccer height)?
NF. Oh wow! I always overestimate this (get asked a lot, Niall?) I want to say a baby horse but I feel like that’s too big. Ok, we’ll go with that.
BP. Probably like a big dog, I guess.
DN. I’m terrible at throwing so probably a really small horse.
Q. Would you rather face off against a table full of supermodel sharks or a table full of fish, who smell like fish?
NF. Ha ha ha. Probably the first one as I do the second one every trip anyway!
BP. Oh man, I’d have to go with the supermodels there.
DN. Supermodels. I’m probably better than them anyway so it doesn’t matter.
Q.You’re hosting a four handed poker game and need to fill the other three seats. You need to choose a poker player for entertainment; a player for value and lastly you have a completely open choice, but have to explain that choice.
NF.
Entertainment: I’d have to take Ludo [Geilich].
Value: I can’t take Ludo again, no? I’d take Craig McCorkell then, he’s such a punter!
Open choice: The first two boys always like to drink a lot so I’ll stick in Jake [Cody] as well so we can all get drunk at the table.
BP.
Entertainment: I’d have to go with Daniel Negreanu.
Value: Do I have to insult someone? No, it’s okay; let’s go with Jason Wheeler.
Open choice: Richard Dawkins is an interesting fella. I’d like to see where the table talk would go and the debates between him and Daniel [Negreanu] would be great and overall it’d be a fun mix.
DN.
Entertainment: Jean-Noel Thorel because he plays in a very entertaining way. (Story checks out. Once he six-bet bluffed Viktor Blom in a €10k high roller event).
Value: Jean-Noel Thorel again? No? Okay, I’ll have Ilkin Garibli who won the $25,000 High Roller at the PCA this year. (Garibli busted Dominik from the tournament so an understandable answer)
Open choice: Probably someone like Dan Shak because he’s so rich he doesn’t care. (Dominik pointed out he's also very good friends with Dan as well)
In one of the first hands after the break, action folded to Dani Stern in the small blind. Stern shoved all in and big blind Davidi Kitai called for his remaining 24,000 or so.
Dani Stern:
Davidi Kitai:
The board ran out and Kitai hit the rail.

Sam Greenwood opened for 10,000 from the hijack and Stephen Chidwick in the cutoff three bet to 85,000 with about 28,000 behind.
Dan Smith on the button thought for some time but folded, and so did both blinds.
Greenwood shoved all in and Chidwick made the call.

Ramin Hajiyev raised to 12,000 under the gun on the final hand before the re-draw and Dani Stern three-bet from the button to 28,000. Nick Petrangelo gave it some thought from the small blind before four-betting to 69,500.
Hajiyev folded quickly and Stern looked down at his stack before moving all in. Petrangelo called right away and the following showdown was upon us.
Petrangelo:
Stern:
"How much is it?" Petrangelo asked, as he accepted defeat already.
The board ran out and Petrangelo did indeed lose the hand for a total of 187,000 chips.
