Panka Raises River

Nível 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

We arrived in time to find Ezequiel Macho and Dominik Panka looking down at a completed board of {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. With well over 10,000 already in the middle, Macho moved 5,400 past the betting line. Panka went into the tank for a moment, pondering his final action. Ultimately, Panka reached for raising chips and made the action 13,500 to go.

This raise was enough to instantly get Macho off of his hand, allowing Panka to take down the pot without showdown. He now has roughly 55,500 to his name.

Levy Taxed by Pospiech

Nível 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

On the turn of a {7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} board, Marius Pospiech shoved all in and was snap-called by Yehonatan Levy's {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. Pospiech showed {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a flopped set and held on the {K-Spades} river.

There was a countdown and the German player had the Israeli just covered for a pot worth around 70,000.

Gold For Silver

Nível 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Max Silver raised from the button to 1,100 and Matthew Davenport three-bet from the small blind to 2,750.

The big blind folded and Silver four-bet to what looked like 5,200, but things went quickly as Davenport moved all in to put Silver at risk.

Silver snap-called and the showdown went as following.

Silver: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Davenport: {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Silver found himself a nice double up.

Check-Raise From Silver

Nível 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Ben Jackson raised to 1,100 from middle position and found calls from Max Silver in the small blind and Matthew Davenport in the big blind. The trio saw a diamond-filled flop of {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} hit the felt and all three players checked to see a turn.

The dealer produced the {8-Hearts} on fourth street and Silver checked for a second time. Davenport took this opportunity to fire 1,400 and Jackson quickly called. Silver thought for a moment before pushed out a raise to 5,400. Roughly one minute passed before Davenport kicked his cards into the muck. Jackson did the same and Silver was awarded the pot. He's now clawing his way back to starting stack with about 23,500 to his name.

Higgins Beats the Big Draw

Nível 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Panicos Ellinas opened to 1,200 preflop before Simon Higgins made it 4,000 on the button. Joni Jouhkimainen decided to get involved and flat-called in the big blind. Ellinas called as well.

The flop was {3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} and it was checked to HIggins who bet 6,000. Jouhkimainen quickly folded and Ellinas check-raised all in for about 22,000.

Higgins sighed, "Oh, you haven't flopped a set of nines again, have you?" He then called.

Ellinas: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}
Higgins: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

The {9-Diamonds} on the turn, combined with the {3-Diamonds} on the river meant Ellinas had promptly missed his straight-flush draw. The two had a countdown but Ellinas had Higgins just covered but he was left with just 450 chips after the hand.
