Just before the last break, the following hand occurred between Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier, Timur Margolin, and Francisco Torres.
The action folded to Mercier preflop and he raised to 400 from middle position. In the cutoff seat, Timor Margolin reraised to 1,100, and then Francisco Torres called from the button. After the blinds folded, Mercier made the call as well.
The flop came down , and Mercier checked. Margolin also checked, despite three-betting preflop, and then Torres fired 2,200. After Mercier called, Margolin put in a check-raise to 8,100. Torres folded quickly, and Mercier did the same, albeit after a few moments of thought, and Margolin won the pot.

On the turn of a board, Oleg Vasylchenko checked and Corneliu Cretu bet 5,700. The Ukrainian player made the call to see the on the river. Vasylchenko checked again and Cretu moved all in, Vasylchenko called quicker than a Usain Bolt desperately trying to get to the bathroom.

Sam Grafton is not having the best day at the tables tweeting that he had to cold four-bet shove against Jamila Von Perger managing to pick up a few chips. Grafton is just below the 8,000 mark.
Von Perger herself is not having a stellar day and has just been involved in an interesting hand. Markus Ross opened the action for 500, Von Perger called on the button and the player in the small blind raised to 1,425. Grafton folded the big blind and went back to his phone.
Ross deliberated and made the call as did Von Perger. The flop was and the small blind led out for 2,600. Ross again mulled it over before flicking out a blue T5000 chips to call. Von Perger licked her lips and did the same. They went to the turn card and action slowed down as it was checked around.
The river card was the and it was Ross who made a bet of 6,100 scooping the pot and showing the as he did.
Kresten Nielsen finished third in this event last year amid a raucous final table and a rail chanting “El Toro” at him. He recently won a tentative hand with making a difficult call given the size of his stack. He has been chopped down to a third of his starting stack so there is a lot of work to do before we hear those chants again.
George Danzer must be one of the most feared and respected tournament poker players in the world and returned from the WSOP in Vegas this summer with two bracelets amongst 7 cashes. The Team PokerStars Pro made it 500 from under the gun and waited to see what happened.
Six players including the blinds made the call and Danzer laughed, “That’s what I get for raising under the gun.”
