Eibinger Pays off Rolle

Nível 2 : 1,200/2,400, 325 ante

Three ways to the {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop for 5,160 each, Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger checked out of the big blind and Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle bet 9,600 in middle position. Eibinger folded on the button and Eibinger called.

On the {7-Spades} turn, Eibinger check-called a bet of 30,000 and checked again the {a-Diamonds} river, on which Rolle made it 68,400 to go. Eibinger was sent deep into the think tank and eventually called but could not beat the {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} of Rolle.

Koliakov and Vogelsang Meet Again

Nível 1 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Sergei "Futti18" Koliakov defended the big blind against a raise to 5,400 by Christoph "26071985" Vogelsang and check-raised the {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Spades} flop from 3,525 to 11,450. Vogelsang stuck around and called a bet of 24,420 by Koliakov on the {5-Hearts} turn to then fold when facing an overbet of 122,400 into 85,840 on the {10-Diamonds} river, as Koliakov dragged in the next seizable pot.

Mateos Rivers the Nuts

Nível 1 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos opened the action with a raise to 6,000 and Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker three-bet to 20,400 from obe seat over. Only the Spaniard came along to the {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop on which Mateos check-called a bet of 11,625. Mateos check-called another 38,363 on the {a-Hearts} turn and Muehloecker then checked behind the {10-Spades} river.

Mateos rolled over {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for the nut straight and won the pot.

Showdown Pot for Nixon

Nível 1 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Jamie "jamienixon90" Nixon made it 5,245 to go and was called only by Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle in the cutoff. Neither the {6-Hearts} turn nor the {7-Hearts} river provided any action, and Nixon won the pot with {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Charity Efforts and a Spin & Go Qualifier

Lex Veldhuis
Lex Veldhuis

Among the first eight players registered for the event more than 90 minutes prior to the start were PokerStars ambassador Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis and the UK's Jamie "jamienixon90" Nixon, alongside a host of High Roller regulars to whom this event is just one of many big buy-ins throughout the year.

Nixon qualified through a $75 Spin & Go in which the random top prize of the winner-takes-all jackpot SNG was an entry into this very event. Players also had the chance during the World Championship of Online Poker to win seats for similar high stakes tournaments.

As far as Veldhuis is concerned, the Dutchman returns to online poker after a break with charity streams and will be raising money for the Lewis Body Dementia, the illness his father suffered from. All cashes in this event will be donated to charity and PokerStars will also contribute all rake generated in tomorrow's $215 Mini EPT Online Super High Roller for the same cause as well.
