It is Always Holding Sevens

Nível 16 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante
Levinskas eliminated by Eibinger
Levinskas eliminated by Eibinger

Pocket sevens held up for Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger in the last showdown against a short stack and would do so again when he took on Laurynas "LaurisL91" Levinskas in a preflop contest.

Laurynas "LaurisL91" Levinskas: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

The {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs} board provided no additional sweat to Levinskas and he was ousted in 21st place.

Zufic Busts; Holz Wins Big Pot Against Rudolph

Nível 16 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante
Zufic busts to LeFrancois
Zufic busts to LeFrancois

The 2020 WSOP Online Bracelet Event winner and currently ranked number two in the world, Ivan "zufo16" Zufic, was in prime shape to double his short stack when clashing with Pascal "Pass_72" Lefrancois.

Ivan "zufo16" Zufic: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Pascal "Pass_72" Lefrancois: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

However, it was all over after the turn of a {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} board as Lefrancois hit the nut flush.

Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz then raised to 53,750 and was called by Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph in the big blind. On the {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop, Rudolph check-called a bet of 94,900 and then bet the {6-Hearts} turn for 145,000 to fire another 550,000 on the {5-Clubs} river.

Holz called both bets with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and dragged in the 1,725,000 pot as Rudolph was bluffing with the {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

Oliver and Shakerchi No More

Nível 16 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante
Oliver eliminated by Rolle
Oliver eliminated by Rolle

The final three tables were barely set when Chris "ImDaNuts" Oliver and Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi it the rail to reduce the field to the final 22 hopefuls.

Oliver had a huge tease with {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} when flipping against the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} of Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle. He flopped a gutshot on {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and turned an open-ender and flush draw on top with the {8-Diamonds}. However, the 56h] river blanked and that spelled the end for the Costa Rica resident.

Shakerchi got his short stack in from the small blind with the {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and was called by "hello_totti" with the {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}, which made a pair on the {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades} board.

Pardo Escapes; O'Dwyer Busts

Nível 16 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante

The fate of Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer was decided in two hands as he went from a playable stack to 25th place finisher in quick succession.

First up he had Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo at risk with the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} versus {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} only to see the Spaniard spike an ace on the flop and river of a {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{a-Clubs} board.

Two hands later, O'Dwyer pushed the button and found a caller in Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz in the big blind.

Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer: {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} board kept Holz in the lead and reduced the field to the final three tables.

LeFrancois Busts "300farm20min"; Buldygin Vanishes

Nível 15 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

In a battle of the blinds, "300farm20min" was the player at risk with the {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} out of the small blind and they faced Pascal Lefrancois with the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} in the big blind.

Both overcards hit on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and LeFrancois locked it up thanks to the {j-Spades} turn, making the {q-Diamonds} river a formality.

The next all-in showdown took place moments later on another table when "SmilleThHero" pushed his stack of more than 1.1 million out of the small blind into Viacheslav "VbV1990" Buldygin, who was down to 13 and a half blinds and called from the big blind.

Viacheslav "VbV1990" Buldygin: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
"SmilleThHero": {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

The Austrian was trailing but found some magic on the {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop, then kept the lead on the {2-Diamonds} turn and {j-Hearts} river.

Two Double Ups and a Bustout

Nível 15 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

In a battle of the blinds, "ja.sam.gale" pushed with the {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and was called by "300farm20min" with the {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. The {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} board gave both players two pair and secured the double up for "300farm20min".

At nearly the same time, Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood had two live cards with the {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} when facing "SmilleThHero" with the {a-Spades}{8-Spades} in the big blind. On a {k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board, Greenwood paired both his cards on turn and river.

Eelis "EEE27" Pärssinen was not as fortunate in his final showdown when he three-bet jammed {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} on the button into the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} of Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger in the hijack. The {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} board kept the pocket pair in the lead and sent Pärssinen to the rail.

Eibinger Takes From Watson and Gains the Lead

Nível 15 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

As the first player to act, Mike "SirWatts" Watson raised to 44,000 and Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger three-bet to 158,000 on the button. Watson made that 370,000 total to go and Eibinger stuck around in a battle of big stacks.

Watson check-called a bet of 267,750 on the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop and checked again the {j-Clubs} on the turn. Eibinger now made it 341,800 to go and that proved to be too much for Watson.
