Runcan Incorrectly Hero Calls With Ace-High
Nível 35
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Pedro Marques called from the small blind and Paul Runcan raised to 1,200,000 out of the big blind. Marques called to see a flop.
The two players checked the Q♦7♦3♠ flop to see the 6♣ land on the turn. Runcan checked again and Marques carved out a bet of 1,500,000. Runcan thought for a few moments before making the call.
The 8♠ landed on the river and after Runcan checked for the last time, Marques shoved for 4,900,000. Runcan went deep into the tank, burning through a few of his time bank cards. Eventually, he made the call.
Marquez flipped over third pair with J♣7♣, and it was good to earn him the double-up as Runcan mucked A♠K♥.
