Runcan Runs Good, Leaves Wood Chopped
Paul Runcan opened from middle position and Philipp Wood three-bet from the button to 72,000. When it got back to Runcan, he put in the four-bet to 180,000, then Wood shoved. Runcan had around 650,000 total and made the call, which left him at risk.

The advantage stuck with Runcan after the J♣10♠5♥ flop, but Wood did pick up two extra outs with his Broadway draw. Just as quickly as they were gained, those two outs vanished from Wood's radar on the J♦ turn, which left him with one more shot.
All eyes were locked on the board as the dealer burned and turned over the 2♦, giving Runcan the big double-up, and chopping Wood's stack down to around 300,000.
