Ferenc Vardai opened to 500 from the cutoff, but Abraham Uittenbogaard on the button three-bet to 1,200. Last year's runner-up Jon Kyte in the big blind four-bet to 4,400, making Vardai fold. Uittenbogaard however made the call.
Both players checked the 7♥6♣9♥ flop leading to the 2♥ turn where Kyte bet 5,400. Uittenbogaard called, but found himself in a tough spot after Kyte bet 25,000 on the A♥ river. He counted his stack and said "Hero-call" while pushing his 16,000-chip stack forward.
