Liperis then led all in on the J♠ river and before the chips could be counted Baskharon had called. He showed K♠J♦ for two pair which bested Liperis's A♦2♥.
The very next hand. Claudio Checchi opened from early position to 800. Marius-Catalin Pertea raised to 2,500 from middle position. Liperis moved all in from the small blind for his final 300 chips. Checchi called Pertea's raise.
He checked the Q♠8♠J♥ flop to Pertea who bet 2,500. Checchi called. He check-called again on the 8♦ turn, this time a bet of 4,000. He check-folded the 2♠ river to a bet of 5,500. Liperis was eliminated as his 10♦6♠ couldn't beat the A♦Q♦ of Pertea.
