Viacheslav Buldygin opened to 2,500 from under the gun. Niklas Astedt called in middle position before Simone Andrian three-bet to 10,000. Morten Klein then moved all in from the small blind for 31,000. Buldygin and Astedt folded and Andrian called.

Klein took the lead across the 8♥7♣J♣ flop. Buldygin claimed he would have hit a set on the flop and judging by his reaction on the 7♠ turn he would have made a full house or quad sevens. The Q♣ was clean for Klein and he raked in the pot. Buldygin's compatriot Nikita Kuznetcov said to him "you know the seven is always coming."
