Bar Takes Control with Aggressive Line
Andrew Dickinson opened the action with a raise to 500 from early position, only to face a three-bet to 1,500 from Gal Bar in middle position. Andrey Andreev, sitting in the hijack, cold-called, but Dickinson wasn’t backing down, responding with a four-bet to 4,000. Both Bar and Andreev came along to see a flop.
The dealer fanned 3♠8♦7♥, and Dickinson kept up the aggression, firing a 3,000 continuation bet. Neither Bar nor Andreev hesitated, quickly tossing in their chips to call.
The action slowed on the 6♥ turn when Dickinson checked, giving Bar the green light to seize control with a bet of 6,600. Andreev snap-called, but Dickinson decided to fold after some consideration.
The K♣ completed the board, and Bar showed no signs of stopping, leading out with another bet of 6,000. Andreev, visibly frustrated with the situation, tanked briefly before tossing his hand into the muck, leaving Bar to take in a decent pot.
