Hamza Leaves Wheeler Short, Busts a Few Hands Later

Nível 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Antal Hamza
Antal Hamza

Antal Hamza moved all in from the hijack for 725,000. Jason Wheeler rejammed all in from the small blind. He had Hamza covered.

Antal Hamza: 44All in
Jason Wheeler: AK

Hamza flopped a full house on JJJ. Wheeler couldn't catch an ace or a king across the Q turn and the 2 river.

Hamza got out of his seat and seemingly did a lap of honour in celebration of his double up. The table then wondered whether they thought Hamza had won the hand.

Wheeler quipped "he's gone home to tell his mum about this."

A few hands later he fell to Claudio Di Giacomo when he made two pair with A7. He bested Wheeler's K10 across the AQ27x10x runout.

Ryan Mandara
Ryan Mandara

Action folded around to Omar Del Pino who called in the small blind. Ryan Mandara checked his option in the big blind.

The 2JK flop saw a bet of 125,000 from Del Pino and a call from Mandara. The 10 completed potential flush draws. Both players checked.

Del Pino then announced 170,000 on the A river. Mandara exhaled deeply as this card now put four to the Broadway straight on board.

"Six-seven offsuit maybe" said Mandara to himself. He took 30 more seconds before calling.

Del Pino did indeed have a seven. He showed 73 and Mandara took the pot with J8.
