Benakis was behind and needed to get some help from the board in order to stay alive. The flop of 9♥8♣J♦ didn't offer much assistance to Benakis, but the A♣ turn certainly did as he made top pair, which left Shapira with just one out. That miracle one-outer didn't appear on the 7♣ river, and Benakis doubled up.
