Omar Lakhdari opened to 60,000 from an early position with the A♠7♠, picking up a call by Hans Erlandsson on the button with the 5♠5♥. Tom Middleton then squeezed to 250,000 in the big blind with Q♦Q♣ and Lakhdari inquired to see his stack before folding.

Erlandsson used three time banks to study his opponent carefully and then called. The A♣K♥6♥ flop saw Middleton bet 100,000 and Erlandsson this time instantly called within just a few seconds. Middleton then checked the 3♠ turn and Erlandsson bet 200,000 to force out the EPT champion.

Kaufmann Puts a Cooler on Mavritsakis in Massive Pot

David Kaufmann and Panagiotis Mavritsakis had already built a pot of around 500,000 as they went heads-up to the 9♦5♣J♣ flop.

Kaufmann checked in the big blind over to Mavritsakis who bet 260,000 in early position. Kaufmann called and the 6♥ fell on the turn.

Kaufmann checked again and Mavritsakis used two time banks before moving all in. Kaufmann called for 1,220,000.

"Wow," a tablemate said as the two players went to reveal their cards. Mavritsakis showed Q♥Q♠, but Kaufmann had A♠A♦ and held up through the 5♥ river to win the pot and double up.

Hansen Keeps Firing at Li

Danchev Survives Once Again

Almeida Gets Value From Lakhdari
