Spencer Earns Full Double Off Hammouchi
The min-raise to 30,000 by Lewis Spencer with the A♥A♠ got rid of Peter Jorgne with the 5♥5♠. Atanas Pavlov in the small blind (Q♣10♣) and Younes Hammouchi (Q♦9♠) came along.
Both blinds flopped top pair on Q♠5♦4♦ and checked to Spencer, who bet 35,000. Pavlov called and Hammouchi raised to 85,000. Spencer let his shot clock run down to five seconds and just called, Pavlov only looked at Spencer and folded.
The K♣ came on the turn and Hammouchi checked. This prompted a bet worth 100,000 by Spencer and Hammouchi went for a double check-raise to 200,000.
Spencer used one time bank extension and then pushed all-in for 425,000, fading the snap-call. Hammouchi counted his own stack and then made the call.
The 4♥ river paired the board and Spencer doubled to a seven-figure stack.
