Nixon Raises the River

Daniel J O'Hair

Nível 16 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Jamil Wakil opened to 11,000 form the cutoff and was three-bet to 30,000 by Jamie Nixon on the button. It was folded back to Wakil, who called.

Both players checked on the K♠Q♠10♥ flop and then Wakil led out for 15,000 on the J♣ turn. Nixon called.

The 6♠ completed the board and Wakil bet 10,000. Nixon cut out a raise to 45,000 and placed it into the middle, which got a quick fold from Wakil.
