Filipovskyi Dodges the River to Double
Nível 11
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Heads-up on a flop of K♣10♦8♦, Maksym Filipovskyi bet 13,000 from the hijack and Cristian Veres called under the gun.
The turn was the 5♦ and Filipovskyi moved all in. Veres confirmed the amount of 41,000 and slid the chips forward into the pot to call.
Filipovskyi turned over K♥J♥ for top pair, while Veres had A♦10♣ for a pair and flush draw. The 6♣ river missed Veres and Filipovskyi doubled up, stopping the dealer from taking in the cards so he can snap a photo of the board while Veres sat shaking his head.
