Guelpa Eliminated by Jorgne
Nível 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
With some 17,000 in the middle to the 10♥9♣7♥ flop, Stephane Guelpa checked in middle position. Peter Jorgne bet 6,500 in the cutoff only to get check-raised to 21,000. Jorgne then pushed all-in and Guelpa called.
Stephane Guelpa: 9♥8♥
Peter Jorgne: 7♦7♠
Jorgne was ahead with a set of sevens and whispered "no heart". That request was granted on the 2♠ turn and 3♦ river before the stacks were counted. Jorgne's 116,700 covered as Guelpa only had around 102,000 and last year's runner-up soared to one of the biggest stacks in the room.
