Xiaohu Liu opened 40,000 in early position, and Fabrice Maltez called from a couple of spots to his left before Marco Poccia three-bet 170,000 on the button.
Liu folded, but Maltez announced all-in, putting the decision back on Poccia. After a few moments, his cards flung into the muck.
Shortly after tripling up, Julien Sitbon was all in preflop against Fabrice Bigot. Daniel Clifford was also almost all in and had just a single 5,000 chip left behind.
Bigot revealed his hand too early, showing pocket aces and Clifford opted to fold his hand and take a pay jump, leaving Sitbon and Bigot to turn their cards.

Cards were on their backs with around 600,000 in the middle already on 2♦8♠Q♦9♦5♣, with the dealer counting out the chips of the all-in Tsugunari Toma, who had received action from Sergey Lebedev.
Toma had 7♦8♦ for the eight-high flush and Lebedev had Q♣Q♥ for a set of queens.
The count came to 860,000, sending Toma a pot in excess of two million.
Action folded to Samuel Fournier in the cutoff who called for 20,000. Sergey Lebedev called from the button and Mathias Bayer completed in the small blind. Birger Larsen checked his option in the big blind.
The 4♠J♦Q♣ flop was checked around. The J♥ was checked to Birger who bet 20,000. Fournier made the call and Lebedev folded. Bayer also called. The A♠ river was checked around. Bayer tabled Q♦10♦ and Fournier showed A♣8♦ for top pair. Bayer mucked and Fournier scooped the pot.
Following an open raise from middle position, Michael Rodrigues called in late position, and Ram Favarash called in the big blind.
The flop came 3♣10♦K♥ and action checked to Rodrigues, who bet 30,000. Only Faravash called. The turn was the 8♣. Favarash checked again and Rodrigues bet 65,000, which Faravash called.
The river came the 4♥ and both players checked. Faravash had K♠8♠ for a pair of kings to win the pot.
With about 170,000 in the middle on the 10♦6♣4♥ flop, Imad Derwiche led out for 25,000 before Ankit Ahuja raised to 90,000. Derwiche called.
The 5♣ turn was checked through to see the 3♣ river, where Derwiche fired 100,000 across the line. Ahuja took about a minute before announcing all-in, putting the pressure back on Derwiche. After considering for a couple of minutes, Derwiche surrendered the pot.
Julien Sitbon was all in for 215,000, Daniel Clifford re-jammed for 290,000 and Marco Poccia called, with Sitbon and Clifford at risk.
