Imad Derwiche was all in from middle position and was called by Justin Steinbrenner in the cutoff who was the player at risk.
Justin Steinbrenner: K♠K♣
Imad Derwiche: A♦K♦
Steinbrenner was drawing close to dead after Derwiche hit a flush on 9♦5♦3♦ flop. The 2♥ turn confirmed Steinbrenner's exit from the tournament and the inconsequential 2♥ was dealt on the river.
Paul Trotter opened 10,000 in the hijack before Matthew Wantman three-bet jammed for 62,000 from the big blind. Trotter gave it about 30 seconds of thought before making the call.
Matthew Wantman: A♥Q♦
Paul Trotter: A♠7♣
Wantman had Trotter dominated and the Q♠10♠5♥6♣9♥ run out gave him a pair of queens to survive.
Trotter had about 70,000 remaining, and was eliminated shortly after.
All of the chips went in the middle before the flop in a three-way all-in, and Yevhen Sukhov was the shortest stack with 115,000, while Louis Linard was at risk for about 300,000 against Ram Faravash.
Ram Faravash: A♥K♠
Louis Linard: A♦K♣
Yevhen Sukhov: 8♠8♦
Sukhov was in great shape as both of his opponents shared the same hand but the A♠9♠9♥ flop changed that in a hurry. Sukhov couldn't find one of the remaining eights as he called out for his one-time, with the board completing with the Q♥ turn, and 10♣ river.
Fahredin Mustafov raised from late position and Stoyan Madanzhiev moved all in from the blinds for 67,000. Mustafov called and once all other hands had been played the cards were flipped, with Madanzhiev at risk.
Stoyan Madanzhiev: A♦K♦
Fahredin Mustafov: J♠J♣
The board ran out 2♥8♠7♥7♦J♦. Mustafov had pocket jacks and improved to make a full house on the river. He won the pot and Madanzhiev was eliminated from the tournament on the stone bubble.
The tournament had gone hand-for-hand. Action folded around to Moritz Dietrich, who shoved all in from the small blind. Fabrice Bigot called in the big blind with 91,000, slightly less than his opponent. The cards were turned.
Fabrice Bigot: A♥J♣
Moritz Dietrich: A♣3♠
The board ran out 4♠6♥A♠9♠8♣. Both players paired their ace and Bigot held with his jack kicker to win the pot and double his stack. Dietrich was close to being eliminated, but was left with just 4,000 chips behind and so avoided an exit on the bubble.
Over on another table, two other players were also all-in. Andreas Putz raised and Luis Dono three-bet. Putz then shoved all in for 83,000 and Dono called with a much bigger stack. Players flipped their cards. Dono had A♦K♦ and Putz had A♣A♠. Putz held with his pocket aces to double his stack.
Samuel Fournier had moved all in from the button, pressuring the smaller stacks in the blinds on the bubble, and found a caller in Marcin Dziubdziela with Dziubdziela at risk.
Marcin Dziubdziela: A♥J♥
Samuel Fournier: Q♦10♠
Dziubdziela was ahead and remained so after the K♥5♦J♦ flop gave him a pair of jacks. However Fournier now had an up-and-down straight draw.
The 5♠ turn was a brick but the A♦ river rolled off to give Dziubdziela two pair but Fournier the straight. Dziubdziela was eliminated just shy of the money.
