Gutierrez Picks Off Martirosian in Massive Pot
Nível 11
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Heads-up on a flop of 3♥5♦J♠, Artur Martirosian bet 15,000 from under the gun and Elias Gutierrez called in the big blind. Both players then checked the 3♠ turn.
The river was the 6♠ and Gutierrez led out for 70,000. Martirosian raised to 245,000, leaving himself just one 1,000 chip behind and sending Gutierrez deep into the tank.
Gutierrez's camera crew surrounded the table as he tanked for several minutes, burning through five time banks until dropping in a chip to signify a call. Martirosian turned over A♠Q♦ for just ace-high, while Gutierrez showed 5♠2♠ for a flush to win the massive pot and take the chip lead.
