Team PokerStars Pros Benjamin Spragg and Fintan Hand haven't just taken their seats in the tournament since the break, but they're sharing the same table two seats apart here on Day 1a.
An early position open saw two players call before Adi Rajkovic moved all in. Action folded around to Andreas Tomazou, who slid in the call and the hands were turned up.
Adi Rajkovic: A♣Q♣
Andreas Tomazou: 10♠10♥
Rajkovic was flipping for his tournament life and found two clubs on the 8♣J♣6♦ flop. The K♦ turn brought additional outs in the form of a straight draw. Rajkovic then hit his flush on the 2♣ river, doubling up while leaving Tomazou with less than 10,000 chips.
Tomazou was seen exiting the tournament area shortly after.
Aliaksandr Hirs and Aibek Kozhomzharov were heads-up on a flop of J♦2♦3♦ where Kozhomzharov moved all in for 29,500 in the hijack and Hirs called in the small blind.
Aibek Kozhomzharov: A♠J♥
Aliaksandr Hirs: A♦4♦
Kozhomzharov showed top pair, but he found himself far behind Hirs' nut flush. The board ran out 2♠4♠ and Kozhomzharov failed to catch any miracles as he was sent to the rail.
