Alexandre Reard raised to 700 under the gun and was met with a three-bet to 2,000 by Grigorii Rodin in middle position. Reard called.
On the 10♦4♠8♠ flop Rodin continued with a bet of 1,000 when Reard checked to him, but swiftly folded when his opponent check-raised to 3,800, sending Reard the pot, who has got off to a strong start.
Marcelo Bonanata opened 600 on the button before Nazaar Buhaiov three-bet 2,700 in the small blind. Bonanata called.
When the A♣10♦6♦ flop hit the felt, Buhaiov continued for 5,500 and Bonanata called.
When the 7♥ fell on the turn, Buhaiov stayed aggressive as he fired 12,000. Bonanata splashed a raise to 35,000 across the line, putting Buhaiov to a decision for his 31,000 stack. After a few moments, he made the call.
Nazar Buhaiov: A♦K♥
Marcelo Bonanata: A♥2♥
Both players flopped top pair, and Buhaiov was in great shape to double but the 2♦ landed on the river, sending him to the rail.

Shmouel Elbaz opened to 600 on the button and was called by David Coleman in the big blind.
Coleman check-called a 1,000 bet from Elbaz on the 6♣J♠3♠ flop and then both players proceeded to check down on the 3♦ turn and 7♣ river.
Elbaz revealed 2♥2♣ and Coleman sent his hand into the muck — conceding the pot to Elbaz.
There was 5,300 in the middle in a hand between Thomas Boivin in the hijack and Alexander Ivarsson in the cutoff.
On a flop of 9♠J♠6♠ Boivin slid out a bet of 3,700. Ivarsson called.
The turn brought the 2♦ and Boivin checked to his opponent. Ivarsson thought for a moment, put out a bet of 7,500, and that brought a fold from Boivin.
With the A♠10♣5♣ flop on the felt, Pierre Calamusa checked to Juan Pardo who fired a bet of 1,100 into the pot of 4,500. Calamusa called.
The K♦ hit the turn, and Calamusa surrendered the pot as he check-folded to a bet of 6,000 from Pardo.
Action folded to Viktor Jensen on the button, who opened to 500. Only Kayhan Mokri called in the small blind.
On the A♥5♠J♦ Mokri check-raised to 2,000 versus a bet of 400 from Jensen. Jensen called.
On the 2♣ turn Mokri continued with the aggression, firing out a bet of 5,500. Jensen wasn't going anywhere and called.
The river brought the Q♠ and Mokri checked. Jensen checked behind, but rather than turning over his hand at showdown, Mokri mucked it, sending the pot to Jensen unopposed.
Action folded around to the blinds, where Fabrice Maltez raised to 600 from the small blind and Chris Brewer three-bet to 2,000 from the big blind. Maltez called.
Maltez checked to Brewer on the J♣J♦10♦ flop and he bet 1,000. Maltez then check-raised to 2,500 and Brewer called.
Brewer called a 5,000 bet from Maltez on the 3♥ turn, but went deep into the tank facing a 15,000 bet from Maltez on the 5♣ river.
"I have a good hand... I just don't think you're bluffing," Brewer mused as he tossed a couple of time extensions into the middle.
Brewer eventually put in a call and Maltez turned over A♦J♠ for trip jacks. Brewer's hand immediately hit the muck and Maltez dragged the large pot.
