The PokerStars Irish Open Online is set to kick off from February 26 to March 4, paving the way for the grand PokerStars and Paddy Power sponsored Irish Open scheduled from March 25 to April 1.
The 17-event schedule promises at least $645,000 in guaranteed prizes, with event winners getting an extra special treat. Each Irish Open Online champion will also be the beneficiary of a coveted Irish Open Silver Pass valued at $2,500.

Carlos Ribeiro had just doubled up his 585,000 stack with pocket fours against the ace-jack of Stanislav Zegal, and he was right back in the action as he raised to 90,000 in the hijack.
Vladas Tamasauskas three-bet to 275,000 in the big blind, and after thinking for some time, Ribeiro announced an all-in for 1,130,000. Tamasauskas snap-called.

Nikita Kuznetsov opened to 90,000 and was faced with a three-bet to 285,000 by Oliver Weis. Kuzentsov called.
On the K♦K♣4♠ flop Kuznetsov raised to 525,000 versus a bet of 140,000 from Weis. Weis called.
On the 5♥ turn Kuznetsov check-called a bet of 145,000 from Weiss.
The river brought the 6♥ and Weis put out a bet of 850,000 when Kuznetsov checked to him. Kuznetsov folded sending a big side pot to Weis.
Lehner had Q♦9♠ for queen-high while Weis had A♣A♦ for a pair of aces, sending Lehner to the exit and damaging Kuznetsov.
