Molenaar's Meteoric Rise Continues

Michel Molenaar had raised from under the gun, and Aliaksei Boika defended his big blind. The flop was then spread 4♥10♥4♠ and Boika checked to Molenaar.

Molenaar continued for 4,000, which Boika raised to 14,000. That was not enough for Molenaar, however, who three-bet enough to put Boika all-in. Boika made the call for his 50,000 or so remaining chips and the players showed down.

Molenaar had the best hand with his two pair and ace kicker, and it remained so when the board ran out J♣7♠, seeing the late registrant increase his stack to more than three starting stacks.

A massive pot of 115,000 was already in the middle when Alejandro Lococo checked from under the gun on the completed board of K♥7♠9♠8♣5♠. His opponent was Joris Ruijs in the cutoff, who put in a bet of 58,000 chips.

After some deliberation, Lococo made the call but mucked his cards once he saw the A♠K♦ of Ruijs, who went for value with his top pair.

Reixach Puts Chamas In the Tank

Sergi Reixach raised to 5,000 from the cutoff and Rayan Chamas defended his big blind. On the 4♦3♦7♦ flop, Chamas led out for 3,500, which Reixach raised to 10,500.

That was not enough for Chamas, however, who reraised to 20,000. Reixach tossed in a call, leading to the 7♥ turn being dealt. Chamas sized down to 13,000, and another call followed from Reixach.

Chamas slowed down and checked the 2♣ river, after which Reixach tanked for a while before putting in 68,000 chips, leaving himself just 1,000 back. Chamas took his time to think things over, but after several minutes in the tank he reluctantly put in the call.

Reixach tabled A♠7♣ for trip sevens, and Chamas could only nod his head as his cards hit the muck. He would be left with just under ten big blinds, which were lost not much later as well.
