Troung Gets Time Called Before Doubling Up

Nível 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Luca Moschitta raised from under the gun and picked up a call before Nhat Truong moved almost all in for 300,000, leaving a single 5,000 chip behind. Moschitta made a shove to isolate, leaving just him and the at-risk Troung in the pot.

Troung didn't instantly call, instead stalling for a few seconds. Players instantly called clock on him and a debate ensued, some players suggesting he should be allowed to take more time and others pointing out that with only 5,000 behind there is no decision to make.

In any case, Troung threw his last chip in the middle and players flipped their cards.

Nhat Truong: KK
Luca Moschitta: 99

The board ran out JK3104. Troung improved to a set of kings on the flop and held to double up his stack.

A Perfect Time to Flop a Full House

Nível 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ilija Savevski opened to 50,000 from middle position and was called by Gregory Fournier from the hijack, Daniel Laidlaw three-bet to 185,000 from the cutoff and only Fournier called.

Fournier check-called for 90,000 on the 755 flop, which brought in the 10 turn. Fournier checked once more and immediately called off his last 460,000 after Laidlaw moved all in as the bigger stack.

Fournier had flopped a boat as he held 77 and was miles in front of Laidlaw's AA. The 2 river completed the board and Fournier dragged in the pot.

Radoslav Stoyanov opened 50,000 in middle position, and Gregory Fournier called on the button before Dan Laidlaw jammed 260,000 into the middle in the small blind. Stoyanov quickly mucked, but Fournier didn't go anywhere dropping in a chip to call.

Dan Laidlaw: AJ
Gregory Fournier: 22

It was a flip but the AK9 flop gave Laidlaw the lead with a pair of aces. The 6 turn and 9 river were safe for him as he collected the double.

Kacper Pyzara
Kacper Pyzara

Igor Zolotukhin raised to 55,000 from under the gun and Alexandru Lupuleac reraised to 160,000. Kacper Pyzara then four-bet to 385,000 from the small blind. Zolotukhin folded and Lupuleac five-bet all in for a little over 1.4 million chips. Pyzara called with a little less and players flipped their cards in what was an absolutely huge all-in confrontation.

Kacper Pyzara: AK
Alexandru Lupuleac: KK

Pyzara sighed as he realized his tournament life was seriously at risk. But the board ran out 24A3J to give him a pair of aces on the flop. He held to win the pot and double his stack, the sigh transformed into a wry smile.

Pyzara chipped up to around 2.8 million, putting him close to the top of the chip counts. Lupuleac was left with just 100,000.
