Gerard Carbo opened to 30,000 from under the gun. Rania Nasreddine, Philipp Wenzelburger and Vladimir Troyanovskiy called from early position, the cutoff and the big blind, respectively.
Carbo continued for 45,000 on the A♥3♠2♦ flop and only Troyanovskiy called. The latter check-folded to a bet of 120,000 on the 9♦ turn.
Rania Nasreddine
On the next deal, Rania Nasreddine opened to 30,000 from under the gun and was called by Francisco Benitez from the cutoff.
Nasredinne continued for 25,000 on the J♦8♣6♠ flop and called when Benitez made it 75,000. She check-called for 90,000 on the 4♠ turn before the 9♦ river checked through to showdown.
"You were supposed to bet," said Nasredidine as she tabled Q♠10♠ for the nut-straight. Benitez showed a sign of frustration for the first time today and then mucked his cards.
Dan Smith raised to 35,000 from middle position, Jonathan Guedes called in the small blind, then Adrian Mateos three-bet to 155,000. Smith folded and Guedes made the call.
The flop came 8♠8♣A♥. Guedes checked and Mateos made a continuation bet of 40,000, which Guedes called.
The turn was the 5♦. Guedes checked again, staring intently at his opponent in the next seat across. This did not deter Mateos, who fired again for 265,000. Guedes made the call again.
The river came the 10♦ and both players checked. Guedes showed A♣Q♣ for two pair, aces and eights. Mateos mucked and Guedes scooped the pot.
Konstantyn Holskyi raised to 30,000 from under the gun and Aram Sargsyan moved all in from the hijack for 730,000. Holskyi made the call with the bigger stack and players flipped their cards.
Aram Sargsyan: Q♠Q♥
Konstantyn Holskyi: A♦K♣
The board ran out 3♦3♣9♦9♣J♥. Sargsyan held with his pocket queens, making two pairs with the nines on board to win the pot and double up his stack.
Daniel Novak opened to 30,000 from middle position, Dan Smith three-bet to 80,000 from the hijack, Novak four-bet shoved for 210,000 and Smith snap-called with a covering stack.
Daniel Novak: Q♠Q♦
Dan Smith: 9♦9♥
Novak's pocket queens held up on the 4♣5♠7♠A♠3♣ runout and he secured a full double up through Smith.
Ashkan Fattahi moved all in for 215,000 in early position and Daniel Oterhals called in middle position.
Ashkan Fattahi: A♣A♠
Daniel Oterhals: K♦K♣
Oterhals had run into the ultimate cooler and fell even further behind once the flop came 2♥7♠A♦, giving Fattahi top set. The rest of the board was 4♣8♣ and Fattahi doubled up.
Selahaddin Bedir opened to 30,000 from the hijack and was called by Antonio Rutigliano in the cutoff.
Bedir fired a 30,000 continuation bet on the 4♠6♠10♠ flop that was called by Rutigliano.
On the 8♦ turn Bedir shoved, covering Rutigliano who had roughly 200,000 behind. Rutigliano snap-called and was at risk.
Antonio Rutigliano: 8♠8♣
Selahaddin Bedir: 10♣10♥
Both players had monster hands but Bedir had the best of it with top set while Rutigliano was drawing to either a spade or the case eight. He found no help on the 7♦ river and made his exit from the tournament area while Bedir continued to accumulate chips.
Fabrice Bigot open raised from early position and was met with a reraise from Jonathan Guedes, who made it 90,000. Action folded back around to Bigot, who four-bet to 200,000. Guedes five bet all in and Bigot called with the shorter stack of 535,000. Players turned their cards.
Fabrice Bigot: K♥K♣
Jonathan Guedes: J♥J♦
The board ran out 2♣J♠K♠K♦4♣. Both players flopped a set and Bigot was already ahead with the higher set of kings before the turn further improved his hand to quads. He won the pot and doubled up his stack.
Victor Castanedo moved all in for his last 100,000 before Selahaddin Bedir three-bet to 185,000 from the hijack. Antonio Rutigliano, who was also short-stacked, agonized before folding his cards. The remaining players also got out of the way and the cards went on their backs.
Victor Castanedo: K♦10♥
Selahaddin Bedir: A♦Q♣
Neither player connected on the 7♦6♣2♥J♦9♥ runout, marking Castenedo's exit in 39th place, meaning he made the payjump from €17,500 to €20,100.
