Chung Sinks to Klann's Boat

Nível 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Amaury Mamou-Mani opened the action with a raise from the hijack and was called by Paul Klann and Timothy Chung from the cutoff and big blind.

Action checked to Klann who bet 6,000 on the 644 flop. Chung made it 13,000 and saw both of his opponents call.

The 3 turn checked through to the Q river, where Chung jammed for 47,5000. Mamou-Mani asked for a count before opting to fold. Klann quickly called.

Chung tabled A7 for an ace-high flush but was bested by Klann's 66, which was good for a full house.

Gold Pass winner Mjagkov Busts Autran

Nível 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The action commenced when Andrei Mjagkov, who secured a Gold Pass through the Power Path on PokerStars, raised to 4,000 from early position. Rania Nasreddine and Ankit Ahuja both called. However, Jean Autran found that there were too many people in the pot, so he decided to go all-in with 25,000 from the small blind. Mjagkov followed suit with an all-in of 88,500, prompting Nasreddine to fold. Ahuja, after requesting a count of both stacks from the dealer, ultimately chose to fold.

Jean Autran: A9[all-in]
Andrei Mjagkov: 1010

There was no assistance from the 461073 board for Autran. Ahuja later revealed that he had folded pocket nines, a decision that proved to be prudent.

Up and Down for State

Nível 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

First, Adrian State won a significant pot of around 40,000 against Aaron Olechnowicz. However, in the following hand, he lost half of his stack against Govert Metaal.

Metaal raised to 4,000 from middle position and was called by Aylar Lie on the button and State in the big blind.

On the A32 flop, both State and Metaal checked, and then Lie bet 6,000, which State called. Metaal, however, had different plans and raised to 21,000, prompting Lie to fold but State to stay in the hand.

The 2 turn prompted State to bet 15,000, and Metaal took a considerable amount of time, even pausing the PokerStars live stream on his phone, counting his stack several times, and frequently checking his cards. Eventually, he raised all in, leading State to contemplate his decision. Sipping his espresso and examining his cards multiple times, he appeared displeased with the raise. State ultimately folded, and Metaal revealed KK, which was not what State had anticipated based on the expression on his face.
