Mamou-Mani Feels the Wrath of the Poker Gods
Nível 18
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Enis Rouissi opened to 16,000 from late position before Amaury Mamou-Mani three-bet to 51,000 from the big blind. Rouissi jammed as the big stack and Mamou-Mani called off his stack of 290,000.
Amaury Mamou-Mani: 9♠9♦
Enis Rouissi: A♦K♣
"Nine in the window, never lose," said Mamou-Mani after the dealer put out the Q♦9♣3♦ flop.
"Don't say that," said someone at the table, insinuating that Mamou-Mani may have been speaking too soon.
The 4♦ turn gave Rouissi a flush draw, which came in on the 7♦ river to secure the sickening bust out.
