Korsakas Gets a Massive Double Up
Nível 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
With two players seeing a board of Q♥10♦5♦, Demosthenes Kiriopoulos checked from out of position and Kevinas Korsakas bet 22,000. Kiriopoulos moved all in, covering Korsakas who had 85,600 behind. Korsakas made the call and was at risk.
Kevinas Korsakas: 10♣10♥
Demosthenes Kiriopoulos: A♦K♦
Korsakas was well ahead with middle set but still had to fade a lot of outs from Kiriopoulos who had both a straight draw and the nut-flush draw. The A♥K♥ turn and river were clean for Korsakas who dragged in a gargantuan pot while making a significant dent in Kiriopoulos' stack.
