Tedeschi Stacks Asgoudakis, Leaves Moraes Short

Rafael Moraes opened to 16,000 from the hijack. Erich Tedeschi reraised to 49,000 before Emmanouil Asgoudakis jammed all in from the big blind for 149,000.

Both Moraes and Tedeschi made the call. Moraes had both players covered.

Tedeschi's cowboys were in good shape on the 9♣J♥8♥ flop. The 4♠ turn and 4♣ river gave him two pair and sent Asgoudakis to the rail and left Moraes short.

Tedeschi remarked "this will make a good story."

Moraes couldn't spin up his stack and was eliminated a few hands later.

With three players seeing a board of 10♣7♥3♥ and roughly 50,000 in the middle, Toni Kaukua checked from the small blind, Alexandre Reard checked from the big blind and Kamel Marzouk bet 22,000 from the hijack. Both opponents made the call.

On the 10♠ turn Kaukua checked and Reard bet 48,000. Marzouk got out of the way while Kaukua made the call.

Both players checked the J♥ river. Kaukua tabled 8♦8♣ for tens and eights and Reard's hand hit the muck.

Javier Gomez opened from early position to 16,000. Stefan Dimitrov reraised in middle position to 45,000. Sokratis Linaras then made it 115,000.

Gomez tanked for a moment before finding the fold. The same applied to Dimitrov, who also considered the call but ultimately folded, leaving Linaras with a decent pot without having to see a flop.

With two players seeing a board of 6♥Q♠8♥7♦A♦ and roughly 100,000 in the middle, Jonathan Khalifa had checked from the big blind and Andrew Hulme moved all in, covering Khalifa who had about 155,000 behind. Khalifa went deep into the tank.

"If I fold, you show"? Khalifa asked his opponent. Hulme did not reply.

"That's a ****ing hard decision" Khalifa continued. "Any other river, I call".

After a couple more minutes of consideration Khalifa finally slid his cards into the muck.

"If it's a bluff, good bluff" Khalifa told his opponent.

"That's the price of not calling. You'll never know" Hulme replied as he dragged in a nice pot without showdown.
