Ioannis Poullos opened to 30,000 from the hijack and Joachim Meisolle defended from the big blind.
The flop came J♣7♣2♦ and Meisolle lead out with a bet of 30,000. Poullos raised to 100,000 and Meisolle moved all in, covering Poullos who had roughly 200,000 behind. Poullos opted to fold and Meisolle took down a healthy pot without showdown.
Bruno Khalifa opened from the cutoff to 37,000. Demosthenes Kiriopoulos called from the button before Giovanni Petroni reraised all in for 124,000. Khalifa went into the tank before folding and Kiriopoulos made the call.

The 5♠10♥2♥ flop was safe for Kiriopoulos's fours, and he held through the 3♥ turn and the 7♦ river confirmed Petroni's exit.
In a preflop confrontation Eric Masini was all in from the button for roughly 213,000 and was up against Jon Vallinas in the small blind who covered him.

Vallinas was in great shape with a bigger ace and remained ahead on the K♣6♥J♦5♦A♠ runout to send Masini to the rail and take the pot.
Julien Sitbon moved all in from under the gun for 88,000. Action folded around to Alex Sampirisi who reshoved all in for around 200,000 from the button. The blinds folded and the players showed down.

Sampirisi's ace was dominated and found no help on the J♣4♣10♠ flop. The 8♥ turn upgrades Sitbon's hand to a straight draw and he paired up on the 9♥ river to secure the double.
Sampirisi subsequently bust a few hands later.
David Djian opened to 35,000 in the cutoff before Dominik Nitsche three-bet to 240,000, leaving just 25,000 behind. Action folded back around to Djian, who called and started to reveal his hand thinking Nitsche was all in.
The hand continued to the A♦10♦J♣ flop, where Nitsche checked the tournament clock on the bubble of a pay jump. "I don't know what to do," said Nitsche before betting 15,000. Djian made the call.
The dealer flipped over the 9♣ turn and Nitsche checked. Djian bet and Nitsche called his last 10,000 after confirming that the pay jump was acquired.

"I have some equity," said Nitsche as he waited for the river. The 4♥ sealed his exit from the tournament, seeing his chips get added to Djian's stack.
Francisco Benitez open-shoved for 136,000 from the hijack and was called by Antoine Labat in the big blind who had a covering stack to put Benitez at risk.

Benitez was in rough shape with a smaller queen and couldn't catch up on the 7♠5♠4♦5♥2♦ runout resulting in his elimination while Labat scooped a decent pot.
