Piacentino Takes Out Xanthopoulos, Marquez Gets Away
Nível 11
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Ana Marquez bet 4,000 from the big blind on a board of 9♥J♦8♥10♦ and Yves Piacentino raised to 10,500 on the button.
Christos Xanthopoulos then moved all in for 32,000 in the small blind and Marquez folded, while Piacentino called.
Xanthopoulos had Q♦J♥ for a straight, but Piacentino had K♠Q♥ for the nut straight. The river was the 10♠ and Xanthopoulos was sent to the rail.
"He saved me," Marquez told Piacentino after the hand.
