Julien Pavon then reached for chips on the button, producing a three-bet to 26,000. Both of his opponents called.

On the 9♦8♦7♥ flop, action was checked to Pavon, who quickly slid out a bet of 24,000.

Mamou folded but Breckmann produced a check-raise to 100,000, putting Pavon to the test for the rest of his stack, who had around 50,000 behind.

After around three minutes of thought, Pavon made the call to put himself at risk.
