Ponakovs Gets a Rebate from Pardo

Juan Pardo opened to 2,500 from the cutoff before Aleksejs Ponakovs made it 7,500 from the button. The blinds got out of the way and Pardo four-bet to 19,000. Ponakovs called.
Pardo continued for 6,000 on the A♦J♠10♥ flop and called when Ponakovs raised to 18,000. The 4♥ turn then checked through to the 5♣ river.
Pardo, after using a time bank, led out for 10,000 into a pot of 76,500. Ponakovs, with 35,500 behind, raised to 34,500 and left a single chip behind. Pardo quickly called and the cards went on their backs.
Pardo's A♣K♣ was good for top-top but could not beat Ponakovs J♣10♣, which flopped two pair.
