The 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) Cyprus is gearing up for another thrilling edition of the $50,000 Super High Roller at the luxurious Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa. This three-day event will draw poker’s elite, all vying for a massive prize pool and the prestige of a coveted EPT title.
Last year, the event attracted 46 entries, generating a prize pool of $2,231,460. Spain’s Juan Pardo took home the trophy and $688,560 after a heads-up deal with fellow Spaniard Vicente Delgado, who earned $583,400 for his runner-up finish.
Pardo’s victory marked his first EPT Super High Roller title, overcoming a final table stacked with high-stakes regulars, including Teun Mulder, PokerStars Ambassador Sam Grafton, Leon Sturm, and Quan Zhou.

Plan for Day 1
The 2024 edition, which shuffles up and deals at 12:30 p.m. local time, will follow a similar structure, with the shot clock in effect from the start. Each player will have 15 seconds for their first action and 30 seconds for subsequent decisions, with six-time bank cards to extend the clock when needed.
Registration closes at the start of Day 2, and the tournament will play out over eight 60-minute levels on Day 1.
Each player will be given a 250,000 starting stack, which is good for 250 big blinds from Level 1. Should any player opt to use the Day 2 registration, their stack will be worth just over 40 big blinds.
