In a blind versus blind battle, Kayhan Mokri led out for 3,000 on a flop of A♦J♥K♦ and Nikita Kuznetsov called.

Mokri bet another 12,000 on the 5♣ turn and Kuznetsov again called. The river was the 9♣ and Mokri bet 55,000.

Kuznetsov took a minute until he called once more as Mokri showed A♥9♦ for two pair to win the pot.

Ponakovs Gets a Rebate from Pardo

Juan Pardo opened to 2,500 from the cutoff before Aleksejs Ponakovs made it 7,500 from the button. The blinds got out of the way and Pardo four-bet to 19,000. Ponakovs called.

Pardo continued for 6,000 on the A♦J♠10♥ flop and called when Ponakovs raised to 18,000. The 4♥ turn then checked through to the 5♣ river.

Pardo, after using a time bank, led out for 10,000 into a pot of 76,500. Ponakovs, with 35,500 behind, raised to 34,500 and left a single chip behind. Pardo quickly called and the cards went on their backs.

Pardo's A♣K♣ was good for top-top but could not beat Ponakovs J♣10♣, which flopped two pair.

Heads-up on a flop of 8♦5♣2♣, Juan Pardo bet 13,500 from the big blind and Aleksejs Ponakovs raised to 31,000 under the gun. Pardo called and the 5♠ fell on the turn.

Ponakovs then bet another 18,000 and Pardo responded by moving all in. Ponakovs, with around 70,000 remaining, quickly folded and Pardo showed him A♣K♣ for ace-high as he took the pot.

Johannes Straver limped in from the small blind and called when Teun Mulder made it 4,000 from the big blind. Starver check-called for 4,500 on the J♠9♣8♠ flop and then led out for 5,000 on the Q♥ turn. Mulder quickly folded.

On a nearby table, defending champion Juan Pardo made it 2,500 from the hijack and Artsiom Lasouski called from the button. The Q♦6♦5♥ flop checked through to the 7♦ turn. Pardo bet 2,500 and was called. The 3♥ river completed the board and Pardo folded out his opponent after sizing up to 3,500.

PokerStars Announces Inaugural Live Spin & Go Championship

PokerStars is bringing Spin & Go's to the live arena for the first time and you don't have long to wait to see them in action because The Spin & Go Championship debuts during the upcoming European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague festival.

The Spin & Go Championship is scheduled for December 14-15 and will see 81 players lock horns in three-handed tournaments and do battle for a slice of the €100,000 prize pool. Although the Spin & Go Championship field is invite-only, you can qualify for this ground-breaking event.

The 81-strong field consists of 74 PokerStars Spin & Go qualifiers plus seven yet-to-be-announced special guests. A series of Spin & Go leaderboards will award 33 seats to PokerStars dotcom players, 24 to Southern Europe (France and Spain) qualifiers and 17 to qualifiers in Italy.

Korzinin Coolers Skrbic to the Rail

Around 130,000 was already in the pot as Vladimir Korzinin and Milos Skrbic went to the turn on a board of 7♣6♥2♥3♥. Korzinin then bet 53,000 from under the gun and Skrbic called in the cutoff.

Korzinin checked dark heading to the 8♦ river and Skrbic moved all in for around 100,000. "I want to see a cooler," Korzinin said as he called.

Skrbic showed 2♠2♦ for a set, but Korzinin had 6♣6♠ for a higher set to send Skrbic to the rail less than 15 minutes into the day.

The flop came Q♥Q♦6♣ and Ponakovs used two time banks before checking. Lasouski then bet 32,000 and Ponakovs called.

The turn was the 9♦ and Ponakovs checked again. Lasouski fired out 55,000 and Ponakovs quickly folded.
