On the 7♥4♦2♣ flop, Myers check-called versus a bet of 9,000 from his opponent.
The 7♣ turn paired the board and was checked through, as was the Q♥ river.
Myers showed J♥J♦ for two pair, jacks and sevens, and Zhugralin mucked.
Luca Stevanato checked from the big blind on a turn of J♥8♥8♠6♦. Philip Joyce then fired a small bet of 3,500 into a pot of 30,000 from early position.
Stevanato responded with a raise to 15,500, which Joyce called after some tanking time.
The river fell the 8♦. This time, it was Stevanato who bet tiny, putting 3,500 into the middle. Joyce did not think long before moving all in, receiving a snap-fold from his opponent.
Josep Valls had his stack of just under 80,000 in the middle preflop and Michael Wang, who had just a few thousand more, was also involved.

Wang was the one that needed to improve, but the board of 4♠J♠8♥2♦J♥ brought no help, as Vall's pocket queens maintained their lead throughout the hand. Once the stacks were counted down, Wang learned he had just under 5,000 chips remaining to work with.
Tom Fuchs had lost most of his stack with kings against aces, and was all-in for his last 10,000 and at risk versus Xiaohu Liu.

The bad luck for Fuchs continued as he ran into yet another overpair, and the 9♥9♣10♦A♦10♣ runout left him counterfeited and playing the board, while Liu scooped the pot with two pair, jacks and tens.
Niklas Astedt opened to 4,000 from the hijack. Aleksandr Burov and Eero Rantala called from the button and blinds.
Rantala checked on the 8♥3♠2♣ flop before Astedt continued for 6,000. Burov made it 17,500 and folded out both opponents.
As that hand played out, Nicola Cappellesso was in the middle of putting Daniel Lakerveld to the test for his tournament life on another table.
With around 25,000 on the 3♦4♣6♥5♦A♦ completed board, Lakerveld bet 3,000 from the hijack, leaving around 26,500 behind. Cappellesso raised to his opponent all-in and Lakerveld went deep into the tank.
Several minutes passed and then Lakerveld called to put himself at risk.
Cappellesso tabled 7♦7♣ for a seven-high straight, and secured the bust out after Lakerveld could only show A♠K♣.
Nariman Yaghmai raised to 4,000 under the gun. Tom Vogelsang called in the hijack before Aleksandr Lakhov went all in for 19,500 from the small blind.
Yaghmai made the call while Vogelsang got out of the way.

The higher pair held on the 9♥2♦3♦K♣K♦ board, seeing Lakhov double up. Meanwhile, Ivan Zabiiakin was spotted with a huge stack at this table, while Steve O'Dwyer had recently departed.
With around 30,000 chips in the pot on a board of 9♠5♦7♣6♠9♦, Timur Kurbanov had fired 21,000 on the river and Vadzim Lipauka took around a minute before he shoved. Kurbanov had around 70,000 total and quickly made the call, which put him at risk.
Lipauka then tabled a full house with 5♣5♥, but that was no good as Kurbanov had a bigger boat with 7♠7♥ to scoop the pot and double up.
Grigoli Liklikadze had made an open-raise from the cutoff when Omar Del Pino three-bet to 10,500 on the button. The action folded back to Liklikadze, who four-bet jammed for 35,000.
Del Pino instantly called, tabling the cards.

In a battle of the blinds between players who have already picked up trophies this week, Diogo Coelho and Leo Worthington-Leese, the pot had swollen to 80,000 with a completed board reading 4♠5♥3♠10♠J♣.
Coelho checked to his opponent, who moved all in for around 41,000 with the covering stack. Coelho, who had about 35,000 left behind, looked pained and went into the tank.
After about two minutes, he peered across the dealer trying to get a look at his opponent, who remained stoic throughout. Coelho lent back in his chair, clasped his hands behind his head, and suddenly made the call.
Worthington-Leese tabled A♠8♥ for ace-high, having missed his flopped straight draw and turned nut flush draw, while Coelho had 7♠7♣ for third pair sevens, sending him the double-up and leaving the Brit with crumbs, which was reduced to nothing not much later.
