The 7♦ river completed the board, and Nguyen checked once more. Rogov fired out a bet of 11,000, and looked surprised when he was met with a check-jam from Nguyen with the covering stack.
Rogov had about 105,000 behind, and went deep into the tank. The clock was called, and with the countdown on, Rogov stuck in calling chips.
Nguyen tapped the table and showed 10♠8♠ for two pair, eights and sevens, but Rogov had K♥Q♥ for kings-up, and he jumped from the table and pumped his fist in celebration when he saw his opponent's holding.
