Betbese Calls the River with Ace-High
Nível 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Nicolas Betbese raised to 2,800 from the button and Gerard Carbo defended, in the big blind.
The K♥K♠J♥ flop saw Carbo check-call a bet of 1,600 from Betbese.
The 9♣ turn checked through to the J♦ river. Carbo took a stab for 3,800 and Betbese made a quick call. Carbo tabled 9♠8♠ for a counterfeited pair of nines, but was bested by the ace-high of Betbese.
