It's official. After its return in 2023 following a 12-year hiatus, PokerStars has confirmed that The Big Game on Tour is back again this year, with more episodes to be filmed at the NAPT Las Vegas festival.
Ten episodes of the show were filmed last year, with the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Maria Ho, Lex Veldhuis and Sam Grafton all taking part. The show features a lucky Loose Cannon who receives $50,000 and has to survive 150 hands playing $50/$100 with a table of poker pros, ambassadors, and celebrities.
PokerNews spoke with Big Game on Tour judge and commentator James Hartigan ahead of the show's return, and he says he's thrilled the show is back.

Kayhan Mokri, in the small blind, woke up with Q♠Q♥ and cold four-bet jammed for 910,000. Both Suvarna and Santerne snap-folded.

Jesse Lonis opened to 45,000 from the hijack and was three-bet to 130,000 by Seth Davies in the big blind. Lonis shoved for 486,000 total and Davies quickly called.

Lonis was looking for an ace, which showed up on the 3♣5♠A♣ flop to give him a commanding lead.
The 9♣ turn and 10♥ river changed nothing and Lonis was awarded the double-up.

Santhosh Suvarna raised to 40,000 from early position holding A♠9♣. Niklas Astedt, in the big blind, woke up with Q♠Q♥ and three-bet to 160,000.
Suvarna, the covering stack, put the pressure on with a four-bet to 360,000. Astedt tanked for some time before five-bet jamming for 721,000, earning a quick fold from Suvarna.

Patrik Antonius opened to 40,000 with K♠Q♣ on the button and was three-bet to 130,000 by Steve O'Dwyer on the in the big bind with K♣2♦. Antonius called.
O'Dwyer continued for 85,000 on the A♠3♣5♣ flop and Antonius called.
The J♦ fell on the turn and O'Dwyer checked. Antonius took the initiative with a small 50,000 bet and O'Dwyer laid his hand down.

The 8♠4♠A♦ flop saw Santerne check-call a bet of 66,000 from Mokri; his gutshot draw trailing top pair.
The 5♠ turn completed Santerne's straight draw, prompting him to play out of flow with a lead of 90,000. Mokri chose to see the river.
The 10♠ completed the board and Santerne bet out 140,000. Mokri made a quick fold.
