Miracle River Saves Bernard

Nível 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Alban Fourcin opened to 17,000 from under the gun before Jensen Bernard jammed his last 44,000 from middle position. Karim Benamrouche cold-called from the big blind before Fourcin rejammed as the slightly covering stack, which caused Benamrouche to reluctantly fold.

Jensen Bernard: AQ All in
Alban Fourcin: 1010

The K103 flop was an interesting one as it gave Fourcin a set but gave Bernard a broadway draw and the nut flush draw. Nothing changed on the 8 turn until the miracle 9 peeled off on the river to give Bernard the nut flush as he survived.

"You Can Still Fold"

Nível 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

[Removed:568] opened 16,000 in early position and Antonio Crocetta pushed a stack of blues across the line for a raise of 85,000 on the button. Salah piled his chips and four-bet all in for his entire stack. Crocetta asked for a count and the dealer informed him it was 149,000. As Crocetta deliberated, Salah added, "You can still fold." Without responding, Crocetta made the call.

[Removed:568]: QQ All in
Antonio Crocetta: JJ

Salah hit his set as the KQ9 flop hit the felt, but he hadn't received the checkmark quite yet as Crocetta flopped a gutshot straight draw. The 2 turn and the 6 river changed nothing, however, sending Salah the double nearing the bubble.

Marzagalli Outflips Song to Score a Knockout

Nível 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Alessandro Marzagalli open-jammed for around 55,000 from the cutoff. In the small blind, Yunkyu Song began his normal routine by standing up from his chair and putting on his jacket before he slid in the remainder of his 45,000 chips, and the cards hit their backs with Song the player at risk.

Yunkyu Song: AK All in
Alessandro Marzagalli: 33

"So sick!" announced Song when he realized he was in a coinflip scenario.

The board ran out 104297 which was no help to Song as he hit the rail just 20 spots from the money.

Maurizio Maiorano
Maurizio Maiorano

Dario Pieruzzini opened 16,000 in middle position before Maurizio Maiorano put in a three-bet to 50,000 on the button. Pieruzzini took a few moments before sliding his cards into the muck.

Maiorano held his QQ up high for the table to see, and Pieruzzini remarked, "I know."

Acevedo Trending Downward

Nível 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With 70,000 in the pot, the flop came 772. Carlos Acevedo, who had checked from early position, called a 25,000 bet from Paul Kraemer, who was on the button.

The 3 fell on the turn and Acevedo checked once more to Kraemer as he stacked up a bet of 55,000 and pushed it across the line. Acevedo pondered for a moment before deciding to fold his hand.

Covaciu Doubles via Kirby-Hogarty

Nível 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Per Johansen opened to 13,000 under the gun, and was met with a three-bet to 32,000 by Tobias Kirby-Hogarty in middle position. Paul Covaciu was in the hijack and he three-bet jammed to 71,000. Action folded back to Johansen, who got out of the way, but Kirby-Hogarty made the call.

Paul Covaciu: AK All in
Tobias Kirby-Hogarty: 55

Covaciu needed some help from the board, but looked to be heading for the exit after the 1076 flop and Q turn. However the A rolled off on the river to save him and send him the pot.
