With two players seeing a board of 8♦7♦5♠ and around 17,000 in the middle, Fernando Marco bet 4,000 from the small blind and Djabrayne Bouhlala raised to 11,000 from the cutoff. Marco shoved for a bit over 25,000 and after taking a few minutes to weigh his options, Bouuhlala folded J♣J♥ for an overpair face up.
Marco showed his opponent that he had a bigger overpair with K♦K♣ before dragging in the pot.
Olga Iermolcheva had committed her stack of around 11,000 to the pot preflop and her compatriot, Andrii Ponomarov, had made the call.
Olga Iermolcheva: A♣J♥
Andrii Ponomarov: Q♥10♦
Iermolcheva paired her ace on the 3♠6♠A♦3♦9♣ runout which secured her a double-up at the expenses of her countryman.
Gonzalo Gottlieb opened from under the gun to 1,200 and Alberto Dominguez three-bet from the button to 3,400. Brian Garcia then four-bet from the small blind to 7,400, which only Dominguez called.
On the 5♦3♦8♣ flop, Garcia bet 6,800, and Dominguez called.
A 6♣ fell on the turn and after thinking for a while, Garcia shoved for around 19,000. Dominguez gave it some thought, but elected to fold.
