Re Doubles With Aces in Battle of the Blinds
Nível 28
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Action folded around to Nicolas Coppini, who raised to 200,000 from the small blind. Gabriele Re just called from the big blind.
Re called a 160,000 bet from Coppini on the J♣4♠10♠ flop and then called all in after Coppini bet enough to put Re in for his remaining 610,000 on the 6♣ turn.
Gabriele Re: A♦A♠
Nicolas Coppini: A♥J♦
Coppini held top pair, but had run into the slow-played aces of Re to find himself drawing thin.
The A♣ river kept Re best with a set of aces and he doubled up through Coppini.
