Dan's Pair Holds up to Eliminate Ruiz
Nível 16
: Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Jacques Dan opened to 13,000 from early position and Francisco Ruiz shoved for approximately 70,000 from the hijack. Action folded back around to Dan, who tanked for some time before eventually announcing a call to put Ruiz at risk.
Francisco Ruiz: A♦10♣
Jacques Dan: 9♠9♥
It was a fair fight, but the Q♦3♠K♠5♥6♦ runout favored Dan's pair of nines to eliminate Ruiz.
