Sebastian Schulze min-raised to 50,000 in the cutoff and Mark Helou flat-called on the button. A subsequent flop of Q♥6♣5♥ was then checked by Schulze, after which Helou let loose 60,000 chips.
Schulze made the call and a 3♦ turn graced the felt. Schulze checked again but folded after Helou put another 100,000 chips in the middle.
Jon Kyte raised to 55,000 from under the gun, then Preben Stokkan shoved for 260,000 from the big blind. Kyte seemed to hesitate, looked at the screen with the tournament information, and called.

On a bord of 4♥K♥10♦4♣K♠, Stokkan remained in the lead and doubled up.
Marle Spragg opened from the cutoff for 55,000 chips before Serge Chechin reraised to 140,000 from the button. The blinds folded, but Spragg put in the extra chips required.
On the 8♥3♦6♠ flop, Spragg checked and folded to a subsequent 125,000 bet from her French opponent.
Mark Helou raised to 55,000 in middle position, Tobias Garp moved all in for 280,000 in the cutoff, and Helou called.

The board ran out 10♣8♠3♣9♣10♦ and Garp couldn't catch up as Helou, who took most of Garp's stack the previous level, took the pot to send him to the rail.
Cheng Zhao kicked off the action with a raise to 60,000 in the cutoff, after which Takumi Odani three-bet to 150,000 on the button. Zhao made the call and a 4♣3♠6♥ flop was spread,
Zhao checked to Odani, who continued with a tiny bet of 40,000. Zhoa then jammed all in for 340,000 and Odani snap called with the covering stack.

Both players had overpairs, but Odani's kings had a gigantic lead. The Q♠ turn was clean for the Japanese player, but the J♠ river saw Zhao hit his two-outer to double up.
Odani, meanwhile was left with just under 12 big blinds.
Umberto Ruggeri open-raised to 55,000 from the hijack before Jon Kyte made it 150,000 to go from the button.
Adrien Guyon then announced his all-in from the small blind for 540,000 chips. Ruggeri got out of the way but Kyte asked for a count.
After some thinking time, Kyte let his hand go as well.
"If you show me king-queen, you're a legend," Kyte stated, but no cards were shown as Guyon raked in the pot.
Action folded to Dejan Jakovljevic in the small blind who raised enough to put Jose Gonzalez all in from the big blind. Gonzalez spent a minute looking around at the other tables before calling for his last 200,000.

The flop came 8♥4♠3♥ and Jakovljevic hit a pair of fours to take the lead. Gonzalez picked up a straight draw on the A♣ turn, but the J♠ river spelled the end of his Main Event.
Alexandru Lupuleac put in a raise to 50,000 from the cutoff, and Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 210,000 from the big blind. Lupuleac then put in 450,000 chips for a four-bet and O'Dwyer shoved all in, covering Lupuleac's 1,245,000 stack.
