The 8♥5♦2♥ flop checked through to the 8♠ turn to give Kyte trips. The chip leader bet 250,000 and was called.

The 9♠ completed the board, and Kyte fired out 1,525,000 into a pot of 1,240,000. Zhao went into the tank and used three time bank cards before making the ace-high hero call.

Kyte tabled his winner and took in the 4,290,000 pot.

Ruggeri pondered his decision a bit, but eventually slid his overpair into the muck and Kyte won the pot uncontested.

Jon Kyte opened to 360,000 from the small blind with J♥7♥ and Umberto Ruggeri defended his big blind with Q♠9♦.

Ruggeri called a 225,000 bet from Kyte on the 8♠K♣K♦ flop and then bet 310,000 after being checked to on the 7♣ turn. Kyte called.

The 3♥ completed the board and Kyte checked once more. Ruggeri bet 900,000 and Kyte laid down the best hand after a bit of thought.

O'Neill Turns a Two-Outer to Double Through Kyte

O'Neill jammed from the small blind for 2,105,000 in the small blind and Jon Kyte snap-called from the big blind.

Kyte paired up on the K♠7♥5♥ flop to take the lead but O'Neill made a set on the 4♥ turn. Kyte had the nut-flush draw but O'Neill doubled up after the 7♠ river.

On the A♥6♠2♣ flop, Zhao check-raised to 625,000 over a bet of 250,000. Kyte called.

The J♠ turn left Zhao drawing dead, but he fired out another 1,100,000 into Kyte's two pair. Kyte called.

The 7♥ completed the board, and Zhao waved the white flag and checked. Kyte bet 2,750,000 and Zhao folded.

Ruggeri checked to O'Neill on the 5♥5♠K♦ and he continued for 100,000. Ruggeri then check-raised to 260,000 and O'Neill called.

The A♠ turn brought an overcard to the board and Ruggeri fired 600,000 into the middle, which was enough to shake O'Neill off his sevens.
