Mokri Dents Pardo in Consecutive Pots

Kayhan Mokri opened to 5,500 from early position before Juan Pardo made it 18,000 from middle position. Action folded back to Mokri who four-bet to 45,500 and Pardo quickly folded.

Mokri raised the following hand to 5,500 and Pardo again reraised it 18,000. There was no four-bet this time as Mokri just called.

Action checked through to the river for the board to read 9♥3♠6♠A♥4♥. Mokri led out for 43,000 and after using a time bank card, Pardo called.

Mokri tabled his A♣Q♣ for a pair of aces and Pardo conceded the pot.

Steve O'Dwyer opened to 5,500 from middle position and was called by Nozomu Shimizu from the button. Dimitar Danchev and Niklas Astedt also called from the blinds.

O'Dwyer continued for 5,000 on the 8♦3♥2♣ flop. Shimizu made it 14,500. The blinds folded and O'Dwyer did the same.

The hand after, O'Dwyer raised to 5,500 and Hirokazu Kobayashi defended his big blind.

Kobayashi check-called for 3,500 on the J♦7♦6♠ flop before the J♥ turn and 9♦ river checked through to showdown. Kobayashi had a pair of sevens with Kx7x and O'Dwyer mucked.

Dimitar Danchev raised to 6,000 in early position, Ole Schemion three-bet to 16,000 in the cutoff, and Danchev moved all in. Schemion folded and Danchev showed K♦K♠ as he took the pot.

Danchev raised to 6,000 again the next hand before Motoyoshi Okamura moved all in for 40,000 in the hijack. Juan Pardo reshoved from the small blind and Danchev folded.

Action checked to Pardo on the K♦6♦5♦ flop and he bet 4,000. Okamura made it 16,000, forcing out Mokri. Pardo opted to stick around.

Okamura sized up to 28,000 on the 4♣ turn. Pardo moved all in for 78,500 just before his shot clock hit zero. The decision was back on Okamura who used up a time bank card before flicking in calling chips.

Pardo had a flush with his Q♦J♦ while Okamura had A♦J♣ for the nut-flush draw. The 7♠ completed the board and Pardo booked a quick double-up.

Schemion picked up a straight draw to go with his overcards on the K♣10♣8♠ flop, but he missed the 6♣ turn and 4♥ river and was sent to the rail.

Schemion quickly headed off to the registration desk and took his seat back at the table a few minutes later.

Both players checked and Astedt led out for 18,000 on the 7♣ river. Okamura then raised to 50,000 and Astedt used a time bank before folding, showing the K♥.

"Show one," Astedt asked and Okamura allowed him to choose one. Astedt picked the 10♥ as Okamura took down his first pot.
