2023 PokerStars EPT Prague
Three players were all in preflop. Grzegorz Kozieja had around 460,000, Marco Meisser had the shortest stack and was covered by both players, and Karo Nuri was sitting on a big stack of close to 4,000,000. Players flipped their cards.
Marco Meisser: 8♥8♠
Grzegorz Kozieja: J♣J♠
Karo Nuri: A♣K♠
The board ran out 4♣5♣10♠2♠5♠. Kozieja held with his pocket jacks and the fives on board, tripling up his stack and sending Meisser to the rail in 25th place.
With that, play broke for the three table redraw.
Endrit Geci opened from the hijack for 105,000 chips and Jason Wheeler three-bet to 355,000 from the cutoff.
The action folded back to Geci, who four-bet all in for 1,500,000. Wheeler let out a sigh before adding his cards to the muck, surrendering the pot to Geci.
Pablo Silva raised to 100,000 from the cutoff, Hubert Baran-Osinski called the bet for his last 100,000 in the small blind and Dan Larsen defended in the big blind.
With action on the side and a potential triple-up for Baran-Osinski pending, it was heads up to a flop of 6♥2♥4♣. Both players checked to the Q♠ on the turn. Larsen checked and then folded to a bet of approximately 100,000 from Silva.
Hubert Baran-Osinski: 9♦7♠
Pablo Silva: K♠Q♥
The river landed the 10♠ and Baran-Osinski was sent to the rail.
Alen Sabic raised to 100,000 from middle position and Jason Wheeler called in the big blind.
The flop came 6♦5♦J♥. Wheeler checked and Sabic bet 150,000, which Wheeler called. The turn came the 10♠. Wheeler checked and Sabic bet 350,000. Wheeler found the fold and Sabic scooped the pot.
Ioannis Oikonomidis raised his button to 100,000 chips and Ryan Sang defended the big blind. Both players then checked on the 9♣J♠3♣ before the 8♥ was turned.
Sang led out for 125,000 chips and Oikonomidis raised to 275,000. Sang then jammed for 875,000 chips and Oikonomidis snap called with the covering stack.
Ryan Sang: 7♦6♦
Ioannis Oikonomidis: Q♠10♣
"Oh, that's not good," Sang remarked after seeing the cards.
He was already drawing dead and packed up his belongings while the meaningless A♦ completed the board.
Pablo Silva limped in from the small blind and Vasileios Chatzilazarou checked his option in the big blind.
Silva check-called a bet of 80,000 from Chatzilazarou on the 4♦6♥3♥ flop.
The 6♦ turn and 8♣ river checked to a showdown. Silva tabled Q♣5♥ for queen-high, while Chatzilazarou showed Q♥J♠, also for queen-high. However, Chatzilazarou's kicker played and he claimed this pot.
Nível: 26
Blinds: 25,000/50,000
Ante: 50,000
Aurelijus Sipavicius, who was under the gun, found himself all in and at risk for his remaining 655,000, against Hubert Baran-Osinski, on the button.
With the flop reading 7♣3♣Q♠, the cards were tabled.
Aurelijus Sipavicius: 7♦7♥
Hubert Baran-Osinski: A♣Q♦
The 6♦ and 8♥ river couldn't crack the set of Sipavicius and he doubled up.
Adrian Kyiak moved all in from early position for 375,000 and Sajad Abud pushed all in over the top from late position. The rest of the table folded and the two players flipped their cards, with Kyiak at risk.
Adrian Kyiak: A♣8♥
Hussein Abud: 7♦7♠
The board ran out 5♦7♣6♥6♠9♦. Abud hit a set of sevens on the flop and full house on the turn, sevens full of sixes. The straight came for Kyiak on the river, but by that point it was irrelevant. Abud won the pot and Kyiak was sent down and out.
