Mats Gramsborg Ullereng opened to 3,000 from the hijack, receiving calls from the cutoff, small blind and big blind.
All four players checked the J♣3♣Q♦ flop to the 3♠ on the turn. Again, the action checked to Michele Guerrini, in the cutoff, who bet out for 5,000. Both the blinds folded, while Ullereng thought for some time before putting in a raise to 20,000. Guerrini snap-folded.
Mikolaj Zawadzki raised to 3,000 from middle position and the action folded to Jose Gonzalez Zaragoza in the small blind, who made a very small reraise to 5,500.
Zawadzki weighed his options before putting in the call, seeing a J♦5♠4♥ flop appear for his payment. Gonzalez Zaragoza checked it to Zawadzki, and the latter put in a bet of 3,500, which Gonzalez Zaragoza called.
The 7♠ turn then saw Zawadzki up the ante to 14,000 chips after a second check from Gonzalez Zaragoza. Gonzalez Zaragoza once again called before the 10♠ river completed the board.
Zawadzki completed his triple barrel with a bet of 30,000, leaving on 8,000 chips behind. Gonzalez Zaragoza made one more check-call and mucked his cards once he saw the 5♥5♦ Zawadzki showed down for a flopped set.
Action was on the river on a board of 6♣10♠5♦6♥K♣. Nadin Crisan checked and Toni Kaukua shoved for around 36,000, near enough a pot sized bet. Crisan made the fold and Kaukua scooped the pot.
Elias Abussamra raised to 3,000 from under the gun and Ole Schemion three-bet to 10,000, which Abussamra called.
The flop came 8♠3♦9♦ and both players checked. The turn was the 7♠ and both players checked back again.
The river came the J♦. Schemion led out for 4,000 and Abussamra raised to 15,000. Schemion went into the tank before making the call. Abussamra showed A♦10♦ for a flush and Schemion mucked his hand.
Gicovanu Alexandru raised to 3,500, from under the gun. Andrzej Powalka three-bet to 9,000 from the cutoff and Alexandru four-bet jammed for 30,500. Powalka called.
Gicovanu Alexandru: A♣Q♦
Andrzej Powalka: K♠Q♠
The board ran out 5♠9♦9♠5♥10♦. Though the flop brought more outs for Powalka in the form of a flush draw, his dominated hand remained that way to the river and Alexandru doubled up.
Vincas Tamasauskas was all in preflop against Patrik Zidek, who had him covered as players flipped their cards.
Vincas Tamasauskas: 9♦9♣
Patrik Zidek: A♦Q♦
The board ran out 5♣8♦5♦4♠6♦. Zidek picked up a flush draw on the flop along with his overcards. He blanked the turn and river though, leaving Tamasauskas to scoop the pot with two pair, his pocket nines and the fives on board.
Aliaksei Boika opened to 3,000 from middle position, receiving a call from Artur Wasek, on the button.
Boika continued for 3,500 on the 9♦8♥K♥ flop. Wasek chose to see a turn.
The J♦ fell and Boika bet out again, this time for 7,000. Wasek was undettered.
The river landed the 10♥ and Boika bet 35,000; an effective all-in with just 500 behind. Wasek snap-called. Boika tabled A♥7♥ for the nut flush, while Wasek folded the Q♦ face up.
Wasek could be seen leaving the tournament floor shortly afterwards.
Silvio Giuliano raised to 3,000 from middle position before Stefan Burch made it 8,000 to go from the cutoff. Nicola Grieco smooth-called from the small blind and Giuliano shoved all in for 63,000 once the action was back on him.
Burch quickly got out of the way but Grieco made the call with the covering stack.
Silvio Giuliano: A♦9♦
Nicola Grieco: 4♠4♦
"A coin flip," stated Grieco while tabling their cards.
It was indeed a flip, and one he would lose when Giuliano made the superior hand on the 9♥10♥3♠8♥K♥ runout. Giuliano doubled up while Grieco still had more than 40 bigs to play with.
